Manly Village Public School Expansion

Project Update

I am pleased to report that construction of the Manly Village Public School expansion is now complete. The upgrades include new administration facilities, new fit-for-purpose classrooms, additional breakout rooms and storage, and new out of school hours (OOSH) care facilities.
During the 2019 election, I made a promise to the Manly Village Public School P&C and teachers that long overdue upgrades to the school’s facilities would be delivered. As part of these upgrades, I committed to ensuring that the former Manly Community Centre on Raglan Street was retained for the school.

I was proud to make good on this promise and secure $6 million in funding to upgrade and convert the adjacent former Community Centre into a new space for Manly Village. This revamp is due to be completed this year and will include new fit-for-purpose learning spaces, administrative areas as well as new out of school hours care (OOSHC) facilities to support our students and the local community for present and future generations.
