Class 365 comprised of 302 new probationary constables including 221 men and 81 women.
Member for Manly, James Griffin welcomed the new police officers to the Northern Beaches:
“I am proud to see the Northern Beaches Police Area Command welcome 7 new probationary constables and I congratulate them on embarking on this new chapter in their career.
“Their commitment to ensuring our community is a safe and secure one is invaluable, and on behalf of Manly I want each and every officer to know that their efforts are deeply appreciated.”
Shadow Minister for Police Paul Toole shared his welcome to the enthusiastic new recruits who come from diverse backgrounds and professional experience.
“I am proud to welcome the new recruits into the NSW Police Force, who have taken up the incredibly challenging but rewarding responsibility of serving and protecting the people of NSW,” Mr Toole said.
“These probationary constables are helping strengthen the ranks of our modern and world-class Police Force.
“Policing is like no other profession; it is a selfless career where officers run towards danger to protect us and the wider community rather than the natural instinct to run in the opposite direction.”
The recruits have completed eight months of foundational training and those allocated to the Northern Beaches Police Area Command will report to their stations from Monday 5th May 2025 to complete 12 months’ on-the-job training and study.
