Funding for manly community groups

Written by

As the Member for Manly, I’m excited to share that applications for the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnerships program are now open. This fantastic program guarantees $450,000 will be spent right here in our electorate.

If you are a community group, sporting club, or not-for-profit organisation located in the Manly area, I encourage you to start preparing your applications for funding.
The Community Building Partnership program is one of the best funding opportunities available because it ensures funding goes directly to our hard-working, dedicated community groups and organisations to support a range of projects, upgrades and initiatives that will benefit Manly. These funds are invested in projects that truly matter and make a difference, particularly for the incredible volunteers who operate on tight budgets to provide essential services to our local community.

In previous rounds, we’ve seen some remarkable community-led projects receive grants, delivering real, tangible benefits to our electorate. For example:

  • $30,000 for six air conditioners at Harbord Public School
  • $14,344 to Seaforth Football Club for equipment to stage games
  • $25,000 to NBSC Manly Campus for outdoor seating and shade
  • $48,618 for a power wall battery storage system, utilising 82 existing solar panels

I am always advocating to ensure our community benefits from grant opportunities like this, and I’m proud that the Community Building Partnership program has delivered significant funds to our electorate.

Applications open in just a few days, so I encourage all interested community groups to visit the website and start preparing your applications for funding.
The Community Building Partnership fund opens on the 28th of January 2025 and closes at 5:00 pm on the 21 February 2025. For more information, visit the NSW Government website: https://www.nsw.gov.au/grants-and-funding/community-building-partnership-2025.
